The mine is operated by Dennis, Richard and Orville and on the weekends Katie and myself (Jackie) go out and help out where we can. All 3 of these guys have been in the gold mining industry for many years. Dennis will be 72 this year, Richard 52 and Orville is the old fart out of all of us and he will be 74 years old in 2012.

2011 was a very wet year and they did not actually get mining till on into September.

Yes 2012 has started out so much better although it has been wet, the guys will soon be ready to start processing.  ( Beginning of July). As the settling ponds from last year needed to all cleaned out, to be ready to process this year.

Katie and I will be making Earrings, and Necklaces for anyone interested in purchasing some of our very own fine gold that the guys have worked so hard to get. We will also have raw gold for sale, and will do custom orders as well. The prices will be set on the date of order as the price of Gold fluctuates so often 🙂
